storage of our baby Boler

Hi everyone...well we finally got away in our little Boler for the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend..went to Silent Lake and it was the most beautiful weekend ever, we were toasty warm and comfortable inside..well, until about 4 am then we could see our breath..BRRR...more quilts were the answer.
We didn't realize how much interest a Boler can gather..everyone who past our site on the way to the comfort station stopped by to take a look...we initially called her ~willow~ but after hearing of two bear sightings in our campsite we renamed her ~willowbear~.....sorry I ramble...
we are ready to put her in storage for the winter..have not used the water system so no need for us to do all that antifreeze stuff...people have said we should use BOUNCE sheets in all openings and also IRISH SPRING soap to deter mice..(she is being stored in a local farmers Barn)..so any help about speed winterizing would really be appreciated..she goes this Friday..Thanks to everyone...NG

It would seem that either Bounce sheets or Irish Spring is a good idea.
Make sure that all traces of food are removed .
For legal and insurance purposes be sure that the propane tank is removed and stored in a well ventilated area , not inside a building .
Do not forget to leave the frdge door open a bit .

We're getting ready to prepare our 1977 Trillium 4500 for winter too - last year I noticed some spots of mildew on the walls and upholstery in the spring. Have brought all removable cushions indoors this year (the bunk is fixed so it staying in the trailer) but wonder if there's something else I should/could be doing to prevent moisture problems over the winter. Any suggestions?

Thanks Bob from Mb..we have removed the propane tank, and the battery, washed all cabinets, floors etc...thanks for the tip re the fridge...should we also leave the air vent open a little or one of the windows...someone said they thought we would need to, in order for air circulation..thoughts ?

I always put in one of the Dri Z Air desiccant containers. It pulls moisture from the air so that you minimize the possibility of mildew and mold growing. I'm always surprised how much water is collected in the bottom. We take our cushions out too just to be safe. You can always just pile them on top of your table too. Make it hard as possible if mice do get in to create a nest or used them for nesting material.
