Here's a dead simple front bed mod for the Goucho floor plan big foot.
My wife and I never use the dinette, so we wanted a permanent front bed.
First I removed the hinges from the under seat storage.
Then I took a standard sheet of plywood cut it to 80 inches long, it was already the correct width at 48 inches.
I then put 3 notchs in the 48x80 inch board. Notch one is for the
fridge due to the over hang it's 18x 6inchs. I zipped the corner off as well should be able to see it in the picture to allow the
fridge to open. One note on this. It makes the freezer hard to get into.
The second notch is at the door corner it's 7x 3 inches.
The third cut is the corner opposite the door corner I took it off at an angle, measurements unknown.
In the end I have a permanent double bed. I bought a $350 6" foam mattress online and cut the notches I needed into it with an electric knife (google it ) it's a dead simple way to do custom foam stuff.
