Scamp 19' needing transport

I have purchased a 19' Scamp and do not have a tow vehicle for it yet.
Maybe I put the cart before the horse!?!
The trailer is in Martinsburg, PA 16662.
I hired a guy on uShip and he just cancelled the contract on me this morning.
I need the trailer brought to Port Washington NY, 11050.
This is on the north shore of Long Island.
I am willing to pay at least $1.00 per mile for the transport.
Please let me know if anyone can help me out.
Thank you very much.

The 19 Scamp is a very nice trailer however it takes a very unusual fifth wheel hitch. It is unlike any other fifth wheel hitch I have ever seen. Finding someone with the proper set up might be difficult. I suspect your Uship contractor cancelled when they found out that other fifth wheel hitches will not work. Best of luck. Once you get a tow vehicle properly set up to tow your trailer, I think you will be very happy with the trailer, but you will not have the flexibility to change vehicles easily.

Yes, the Scamp 19 is a great little trailer.
I know the 2" ball gooseneck/5th wheel is an unusual set up but I was up front about it on uShip.
I have had a contract with the guy for the past 6 weeks and he kept making excuses and delaying until today he finally canceled.
Oh well I can haul it to Long Island on a low boy trailer if I have too.
Thanks for your comments.

If you are a member of, or join the Scamp Owners International, you can access a list of members. Looks like several owners of the 19' Scamp in NY and PA that you could message.
