Smile Just bought my Burro

Hi y'all. I'm proud to announce myself as a new Burro owner. I picked up the lil' beast yesterday and I'm excited!

Its a fixer-upper, for sure. So there's lots to do and this is my first time doing something like this. But that's what I wanted- something I could customize. My desire is for my sweetheart and I to have a mobile life while still being able to do our work. So I am going to be fixing up the camper with an eye towards multi-function and modularity. I'll post my work as it happens.

About myself- I am an artist. I do largescale creations which can be seen here: www.andresamadorarts.com. At the moment I am living on a family homestead farm off grid, which I love.

I live in a tiny home- its essentially a 10x20 carport that feels like a spacious desert palace/temple, with carpets and hangings, and altars. I have a loft bed with a small office below. I'm used to small living, especially when part of it is the capacity to engage the outsides. As its still summer, the double wide door, one wall, and all 4 windows are virtually always open so the interface between inside and out is blurry.

I am excited to be able to live by the beach for extended periods to do my work in bursts and explore new locations easily. The Burro is going to offer me so much flexibility and ease, not to mention fun!

Okay, I look forward to connecting and consulting the wisdom of this community as I engage this adventure!

Blessings

Hi Andres, to FiberglassRV, we're glad you're here

There are lots of kind and helpful people here on the forums, so if you run into a problem with your Burro that needs solving, someone will be along to post information that will help you out.

Do you have any pictures to share of your Burro? We love to follow along during rehabs.

Welcome, Andreas. Congratulations on your Burro. I too have recently made the plunge and am restoring an '82 Burro. We think her name is Lupita, but still waiting for confirmation as "she" develops. Please post pictures as you are able.

Your work is amazing. Thank you for supplying the link. Eco-Art is fascinating. The idea of creating the temporary is intriguing to me.

Keep in touch,
Shelley

Welcome to the Forum.
Living small prepares for living the large small trailer life.
Happy memory making.
