Scamp (2013) bath door handle

I pulled when I should have turned the knob. Now the knob has separated from the latch mechanism. I thought I could fix it, but do not see how to secure it again. There is a small, severed tab inside the knob receptor.

Ace hardware had nothing small like mine. Haven't looked at local RV place yet. Don't see any on line except at Scamp. Click image for larger version

I cannot keep middle, outside bath door piece connected to the knob piece.

Ideas?

Thanks

I've seen replacement handles at Ace, Home Depot and Lowe's in the area of screen doors. Those handles are not unique to RV's.

2013 trailer - still under warranty? If so I would call Scamp and ask them to send a new one.

It's a standard screen door latch-available at any hardware store.

Warranty covers it. Will arrive soon. Wished I remembered the warranty when I ordered a tail light replacement lens. Some bump popped it off. Turned out that the curvature of the rear Scamp forced the plastic stays not to latch onto the lens well enough. I had to insert a 'fabricated rod support' to keep the stays spread so as to securely latch the replacement lens.

Walloon is right on. I fixed mine by buying a replacement at Home Depot or Lowes. Look for sliding door hardware.

I realize that this is an old thread; but, if someone's in need of a replacement closet/bathroom door handle for their Scamp (as am I) and are hoping that they might be able to avoid Eveland's exhorbitant shipping costs, Amazon is your friend (currently $15.99 w/free Prime shipping):
