scamp 19 vs dodge 3/4 ton

Looking at buying a scamp 19. My dodge heavy 3/4 ton looks too tall. Stock suspension on truck--box floor 38 inches high, rails 58 inches. Scamp 3 inch lift with 15 inch rims do it? Also, center of truck axle to bumper is 4 feet (8 foot box), overhang on Scamp barely more.

1994 19 foot scamp on 2 wheel drive 2004 Ram 1500

I am going thru that same problem right now. My bed is 31 inches tall with the sides at 53 inches. The hitch has been extended by the previous owner. So it clears the rear end but the distance between the bed and top of bed sides is barely adequate, and the truck does not pull level, see pic in my other posts on this site. I need to rise the axle but unsure about cost. I looked at buying a new Toyota Tacoma but it is just as high as my 1/2 ton Ram and has a composite bed. If I had it to do over I would just buy a bumper pull, it would have been easy and simple to hook up and could be pulled with anything. I attached pic of my extended hitch. Happy Trails.

The 3" factory raise is the same 3" box/channel the frame is made of. A 3 foot piece is welded to the bottom of frame where the axle goes.
