ParkLiner going strong!

Just received a nice letter from ParkLiner stating that they produced more trailers in 2014 than all previous years combined. They just rolled off their 85 unit!
They are planning a ParkLiner spring Rally to celebrate the 100th trailer. Just thought I'd pass this along. Cheers! Click image for larger version

A number of folks have reported they don't keep track of who has bought their trailers. Makes me wonder How did you get that letter?

Well....in the mail of course who is telling you that? Someone that purchased new or second hand? I suppose they do keep track. Hell they've only built 85. It can't be that tough to keep a record of 85 units. Clearly not a mass produced product.

Hopefully they do now. Anyway I was glad to receive a letter from the company. The second page was regarding winterizing.

They must keep track of us somehow as I've received updates in the mail also...including the DVD of their FIAMA awning mod and other offerings.

I am guessing they don't have my address...I never got the dvd or anything and I drove down last year after receiving an email from them about the battery box upgrade.

When I was down there in August I asked about how they keep track of purchasers and was told they really didn't. I didn't pursue it, but sure did think it was odd! They told me 006 may or may not be our production number too, but they didn't know for sure. !

I did get a pleasant email the other day from Chandler looking for my mailing address. I sent it to him. If they want to send me something on winterization, it's a tad bit late...

They can hold all the company rallies they want. I will not attend.

Frank

I bought mine in Jan of 2014 and I think I remember Chandler telling me they were already over 100.

My impression when I was there in August was that they had no idea exactly how many they had built or sold. I was amazed.

We picked ours up in June, and were told it was 'around' 75. I think they're working on improving communication and record keeping, as those have been sorely lacking. Fortunately, their engineering is wonderful. We had our first trip last week, and loved every minute. Used the Gander Mountain awning that has been suggested on this forum, and it worked great - even during a storm/tornado warning! :O

i agree on the Gander Mt holding up to (in my case) significantly higher winds (clocked between 35 to 40mph) than i originally thought it would. I just hunker it down to the PL rear bumper + front triangle and two guy lines for the two poles into four tent pegs...i've watched it try to lift off but all the guy lines held and there was some venting of excess wind into the anti-trolley roof area off edge of awning. Fun stuff.
