Your question is really not specific enough for a proper answer.
Are you referring to a new Scamp?
What size Scamp?
If you mean a new Scamp, they commonly offer a lift for the 19ft Scamp 5er, to fit it to larger trucks.
If you are ordering a new Scamp16 you could request that they raise it on the chassis like they do the 19.
On the Scamp13 you could request a zero axle instead of an up 22.
When I said request, I meant just that, without predicting their response.

All Scamps now come with the axle bolted in place instead of welded, making a lift a simple matter for common skills.

I'm sorry--I was thinking of buying a 13' Scamp. From pictures they look low to the ground. Casita has a high lift axle that is an option to lift the camper a bit higher. I was wondering if Scamp also has that.

Had a lift kit put on our 16 ft. 2009 Scamp at the factory, to hopefully let us use larger tires. We previously had a blowout on the interstate and have become even more concerned about the safety of the 13" tires.
$700 later (cost of labor and axle), after trying 4 sets of tires, both 14" and 15" we are back to the original 13" size. There did not appear to be adequate room designed between the tire and fiberglass body to allow for larger tires.
The new axle does raise the body of the Scamp. Sorry, we didn't measure how much it raises it.

Scamp now uses a Lippert axle so the bolt pattern for the Dexter lift may not work. (don't know for certain)

And to boot, there is a welded center "support" for lack of a better term, going from the center of the axle up to the frame. I will take a picture latter on tonight to show what I mean.

Our shop made me a 3inch lift kit t but have not installed it yet due to the welded support. I know I could grind it off and have a new one welded on but just haven't done it yet.

We will stay with the 13in wheels and tires but I would like a bit more body ground clearance.

I am not the original poster - but I know that many folks need to raise the body to avoid scraping the rear end when going over dips etc.

I hear what you're saying but, the OP doesn't even own a trailer yet.
I've scraped a few times with mine, rarely but not impossible. The part that scrapes is the bolt and nut that holds the ball on to the ball mount.
There are ways to avoid scraping, one is to approach things at an angle rather than straight on.

So again I'm wondering what OP has in mind when worrying scraping?

These are the pictures of our 2016 Scamp 13ft Deluxe with a Lippert Axle.

As I posted... I will grind this off and make a 3inch longer bracket ..have the boys weld it back on.

This is being done on my 2015 13' Scamp with the Dexter Axle #9 using kit #K71-723-01...
I still need to bolt on an angle steel bar and then attach the axle to it...
