Douglas, are you absolutely certain this is a 1985 Casita? The decal looks like it would be about 10 years newer than that. I mean, it's possible to have an older trailer with a more recent decal, but unless somebody changed it up, I don't think you've got a 25 year old trailer.

Also, it looks like it's either a Spirit or Freedom deluxe model - with the much coveted little window above the sink! (Does it have captain's chairs, or does the side dinette make into an small/narrow bed?)

The person I purchased it from had ordered new striping from Casita. It also has a new axle, wheels, tires and brakes! Doug

Ah, that all sounds good! My first Casita was a 1989 - I loved the little window over the sink... and the fact that it weighed much less than our current 17 footer.

I am hoping that I don't regret this move. We are selling this one because we have a chance to buy a 2004 17'. I hope the extra weight of the newer one doesn't take away from the fun and easy factor of the very lightweight 16 footer. It doesn't require a WDH and tows like a dream!

It actually has a couch down the side that makes into a bunk bed. Not sure what model it is called?

I'm guessing around 2,200 lbs................the 17' models can weigh 1,000 lbs more I hear.
