Fred,
I am assuming you’re keeping close watch on the Escape Trailer Owners Forum too. Some folks post on both when they have a trailer for sale, some on just the Escape forum.
Tips for buying a used trailer
1. Frequent checking of both sites
2. Finances in order for a deposit transaction if possible to “lock in” the deal
3. Ready to travel
4. Checklist of what you want or don’t want when you talk to the owner.
5. Know what you want to pay. After watching a few sell you’ll home in on what you get for the money. Options add up and lightly used units a couple years older than a heavily used, lightly optioned rig are often priced to sell.
Hope this helps.

Here is a link to the classified listings. After you log in there is a "Post an Ad" button at the top to use.

Good luck in your sale and finding a new trailer. Are you sticking to moulded fibreglass? Our Escape 5.0TA will sleep 2-4 grandkids, depending on their size.

I have to say that even though I'm an admin, I have had this same exact problem: can't edit/fix someone's ad for them because it won't take the city. I don't think this is how it's supposed to work (I *think* new cities are supposed to be added to the list, not denied).

I'll see if I can bring this to the attention of my supervisor...
