Trillium 1300 in AB

Hello all - wanted to give a big thank you to everyone on this forum for all the posts that lead me to purchase our family’s first trailer - a ‘74 Trillium 1300. And for all the guides helping me tackle all the projects!

I’ve just replaced the flooring and interior wiring, and am elbow deep in elbow grease polishing everything up. New wheels, cushions/covers, battery and fridge as well.

Next up on the list is painting the ensolite, it was filthy and ripped.

Louis, congratulations! Very nice camper in my unbiased opinion. To what extent did you have to replace flooring? Plywood?? Can you post pictures of your flooring work? Also before pics of the ensolite. Thanks

We have owned a Boler 13 (since sold), Trillium 4500 and Boler 17, all with ensolite. DW has used many different types of cleaners on the ensolite, as well as the ultimate tool: steam cleaner.

Steam cleaner sounds interesting. I’ll try that before priming. I found barkeepers friend was OK, but got the best results (so far) with bleach based fantastik cleaner.

I’ve posted in another sub forum my Reno progress and will update that with the ensolite pics!

No plywood replacement, just the old lino ripped up and put down some allure vinyl planks. Fortunately no rot on the floors.
A bit of old rot around the drivers side windows - gonna tackle that one over the winter. I’m lucky and can store the trailer inside when not in use.

I have a '74 Trillium 1300 as well! I'd love to know, what fridge did you end up going for?

I have a novakool r1600 which is nice, but would like ability to use propane as well, as I often camp at non powered sites. Searching for a 3 way dometic to perhaps possibly swap in, but nothing has come up yet.
