2014 Scamp Camp SouthWest - Christmas in Sedona

Location: Sedona Arizona @ Rancho Sedona RV Park

Make your plans for this SOI drop-in gathering to get in the Christmas spirit. All are welcome! This is the 2nd Annual ScampCamp Southwest - Christmas in Sedona Gathering. In the heart of Sedona, AZ, are shops and galleries at the quaint Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village. Every year they hold the Festival of Lights. This year the festival is scheduled for Saturday, Dec 13 from 3-8p.m. The event has great Christmas shopping, multiple bands and musicians performing, a visit from Santa Claus, free cider, and lots of Christmas lights. At 5 p.m. all in attendance begin to light the over 6,000 luminaries that surround the village.

For reservations, please call (928) 282-7255 or Toll Free: 1(888) 641-4261. **Choose Sites within the loop that have the bathrooms, Sites # 15-36** We do not pack the schedule full of SOI activities beyond Meet and Greet, as the Festival of Lights all-day Saturday is loaded with activities. Our plans have changed, and we are able to make it. Will call the RV park tomorrow to reserve a spot for our Lil Snoozy.

Sounds like just what we want to do over the Christmas holidays. Unfortunately my wife being a teacher our break doesn't start until Dec 20. She has two full weeks this year and we thought of going somewhere a bit warmer than the WV mountains. Are there any of the ScampCamp sort of thing going on in the southeast over the holidays? Neither of us have been to New Orleans, thought of Florida, Eastern Texas. We just want to Spend the holidays in our Scamp!

Sedona is "drop dead beautiful" and all of the folks here are great. We had some sight seeing today and some camaraderie with all of the folks attending the Scamp Camp. There is a nice variety of fiberglass including all sizes and shapes of Scamps, Snoozy, Casita and a UHaul. This one is on my list to attend annually. After all it's only a couple thousand miles from home.

It was great meeting you two today, and enjoyed experiencing your personalizations to your Casita.
