It's an exterior tank, used for gray or black water. Often has wheels for moving it to the dump station.

It may or may not be this big or look exactly like this, but it will give you an idea..

What is the the bed width? I heard that the standard width is 44 inches. Is that correct?

Thanks,
Mark

11 month old ad, very doubtful it is still available. Around here, FG trailers go fast, lightning fast.

While I was looking at the one I bought (day 1 of the ad on C/L), the seller got two calls from interested parties. Imagine looking at a trailer and overhearing the seller on the phone, "yes it is still available, but I have someone looking at it right now, I'll call you back if he doesn't take it". Now imagine this taking place TWICE while you are looking at it. My choice was either buy immediately or lose out.

It put the pressure on, and of course, you can forget about negotiating a lower price. Many people are willing to drive a long distance for a trailer, I was looking at one in Saskatchewan Canada earlier this year, not exactly local to NC and you have the significant added headache of transferring a title across borders.

From WA state, you are a lot closer to Canada, and I have seen quite a few trailers for sale in BC, they don't last long either. And you have the same border issue, so you would need to brush up on how to cross properly.

Buying one used, you need to be ready to launch immediately, cash in hand, and pay full asking price (unless it is ridiculously high). Best to know what brands and models meet your needs, as while you are researching, others are buying.

The strength of the US $$ is a big plus when buying from Canada.

Even if you buy new, the manufacturers all have a hefty backlog.

Tip, if you see one for sale on this forum, check the seller's area C/L. Often, sellers are not keeping up with their forum messages, but they are responding to C/L.

Smile Thank you so much for taking the time to guide me

I appreciate your kindness in giving me these tips. I was also making a steak of not reading the whole group of messages and sometimes they said they were sold and I didn't even see that at the end of the thread.

The 13 foot scale is what I would love to have. This day started out so exciting because I thought I found a pristine scamp at a wonderful price. It seemed too good to be true, and I realized after much time wasted it was too good to be true and must've been a scam.

I'm still heartsick about it and I think it was so mean of these folks to get our hopes up like that and try to take advantage.

Please holler if you see a wonderful deal on a 13 footer. Thanks

A heater, refrigerator, and screen door are all hopes for me. I missed out on that one from Puyallup who just put an air conditioner in and a new screen door. When I'm not rushed I'll get back to you and tell you more about my scam. In fact I probably should post it for everybody to see so they can beware.

Some interesting trailers just popped up on the fiberglass rv for sale site. Google it. One is in my area and should not last long at all.
