Bringing home our new Silver Cloud

We picked up our Bigfoot Silver Cloud and spent the first night in Pendleton, OR. Furnace ran well, and we were comfy. We spent the second night in WY after leaving really early to miss a snowstorm that we did not unfortunately miss. So we are snowbound in Rawlins, WY. And of course, the furnace did not work. However, we bought an electric heater and are now toasty and comfy at the KOA.

We love this camper!

Hoping the furnace is quickly fixable. Enjoy your snow- that is a real shakedown for the new camper.

I vote the problem with the furnace is the sail switch. Continued safe travels home!

That was what the guy who sold us this camper thought it might be, Donna. We are looking into fixing it.

Some lights, though, also worked the first night and not after that, so that makes one wonder if there is more. I just wish we had a decent manual.

Don't know if the SC has been sitting for a while but you may have a few wires a tad loose or loose bulbs now after being towed.

Not sure how long it sat unused, other than the time it sat at the dealer. The owner was elderly though, and in fact, passed away during the time this sat at the dealer.
At least being snowbound and having some failures, gave Kevin a chance to learn a few things about this camper. Much of this is new to us. We never used battery on our Uhaul and did not have the on-board water system.

At least being stuck inside for 3 days showed us how comfortable this Silver Cloud is!

Gave our first Silver Cloud tour today to our good friend, Bill Schumacher, a former Scamp owner.
