13' Trillium - Saskatoon, SK Canada

Hi,

Just acquired a 13' Trillium from my oldest son who wasn't using it anymore. Needs a few repairs/replacements...windows, possibly axle and I need to learn more about the existing electric and propane systems. Am also interested in equipping it with solar and batteries.

Have found several good threads already for windows, replacing belly band, etc. and am looking forward to hopefully posting some pics of progress made on making this little trailer shine!!

I plan to use it to try out the RV trailer camping option. Have been kayak and small sailboat camping for many years.

Cheers,

Murray

Hey!

Hey all! Thanks for the welcome!

My 1300 is in pretty good shape but after looking through the forums I realize there are a million options to improve and personalize it. First things first though....the windows leak and that is what I am working on to start.

Over the last couple days I have pulled the rear window and removed the wet, rotten plywood. I have purchased 3/4" fir marine plywood for replacement. My thinking is that I will coat these pieces with exterior house primer and maybe a coat or two of exterior paint or I will paint with System 3 Yacht Primer or I will put on a couple thin coats of S3 Silvertip epoxy. Likely will just use house paint as the other stuff is too expensive.

Thanks to the forums, this task was easily accomplished.

Cheers,

Murray
