I'm guessing they're bigger than that...the tires on my FJ Cruiser (cousin to the 4Runner) are 32".

Steve, I think Bob is referencing the rim diameter where you're going with tire diameter. 245/60R20 tires have been standard on some versions of the 4Runners (and an option on others) for several years. Both dimensions along with section width (and aspect ratio for metric sizes) are needed to fully identify a tire.

Nice vehicle you have there. I've always liked the looks and capabilities of that model.

Apparently what I was casually looking at in compressor descriptions were tire sizes based on gross diameter (mine are a shade over 30"). I guess it makes sense to use something other than wheel based tire size, but what I was reading could have been clearer.
Thanks.

After 2 punctured tires in Dinosaur Nt. Monument last summer I searched and purchased a Viair 300p for $125. I showed a friend same model on Amazon a few days later and same compressor was selling for $67!!!! I hesitated for a day, and then tried to order 3 more for my kids. Big mistake, they sold out as I was doing the order. I thought it was to good to be true but snoozed to lose in that case. Great compressor for the money. Anything lessor seemed toy-like to me.
