boler door window

it took a rock from lawn mower-can I remove the pane without taking out the whole window frame? I was hoping to just be able to get the broken pane out and go get plexi glass pane cut?

suggest to take everything out, it is not difficult, maybe also save you much more time.

Took mine out a couple weeks ago. A few screws hold it in. I put the new glass in without much trouble. I should have put a bead of silicone all away around to make more waterproof and just leave the gasket in for looks as it has shrunk. You can still buy the gasket, but with shipping etc. I didn't think it was worth it.

Better to use butyl tape than silicone

I would agree if it was sealing something on to the fiberglass hull, but this is glass on the aluminum. The silicone would be a bit better adhesive to hold the window in place. Also wouldn't get the dust sticking to the silicone once it cures.
