Goodbye, Bigfoot

Saying good night and goodbye to our 2005 BF gaucho. Purchased 10/2006 and used lovingly for eleven years. We spent a couple of months each year in our home away from home -- at the Oregon Coast, Pismo Beach, California and numerous campgrounds in Oregon, Washington, Vancouver Island, and the national parks of Utah. Tonight he has a new home in Everett, Washington, where I suspect he will have another amazing life of many years with a wonderful new family. As for us, our family has gone "to the dark side" and purchased a new Winnebago Navion (25 foot motorhome). Happy trails all!

This title gave me a start. I interpreted it as the Bigfoot company going under.

If the new camper meets your needs, happy camping! I admit, I am often tempted by stickies that have slides even though I have a Bigfoot Silver Cloud. I know - lots of sticky problems like leaking, but the wider space I see on Facebook is tempting, so we don't have to squeeze butts when passing in the kitchen.

NO, the Silver Cloud is NOT for sale; it is going to be out southern home when I retire. I am counting the days until retirement. Two more years!

Saw the pictures on FB. It's definitely a gorgeous rig. Happy travels.
