I just returned from several days in My "new to me" 2002 BF 17. I have the CB model and after doing some repairs and rebuild on the rear slide-out couch I chose to sleep there rather than the dinette area. I was disappointed that things were so tight as far as length. I am curious if someone has an early 2000 side gaucho/rear bath model, if you could share what the length of the side gaucho would be for sleeping. I am going to measure the dinette today but as I recall it is about 79 inches.
My early model gaucho bed measures 77.5" x 46". I think later 1500 series beds are the same length but slightly more narrow due to the closet moving to the rear wall.

The Goucho model was the first and yes a very narrow Couch/bed area when we had ours my wife got the bed and I got the Dinette,it was ok as love to stay up later. When they brought out the 17ftCB it was just a couch. The Dinette has the best sleeping conditions unless you have the Newer version with the 17.5 FB which has a real mattress. Our 21 ftRB has a rear bed but it is still narrow but it is a real mattress. But I still sleep on the dinette LOL as at home we have a King size bed.
