Which would be the best solution to fix Maxxair to an exit of 9 inches on the roof of the bathroom ?

Maxxair has only a single size, fit well on 14" X 14".

I think of going and fetch me aluminum with angle
of 90°, high of 1" X 2"(flat) and 15" lenght.
Fix it with the present screw of vent...

What is your opinion on that?

Mounting a 14" fan would require rather drastic roof cutting and I don't think I'd try it.

Another idea would be to make a mounting bracket to fit your opening with this fan.

At this moment I decided to adapt only Maxxair on the ventilator of roof of 9 ", to be capable at least of leaving opened without rainy danger in the bathroom.

I installed 2 parts aluminum of 1.5" X 15 " every.
Made a template with a part of plexiglas.
Change the old screws for stainless steel screws.
Put some silicone in the old holes of screw before installing the news, stainless steel, in same location.
Straighten angles aluminum to attach them at the part of aluminum.

a MaxAir fan is A LOT of fan for a bathroom....like way too much....

I'm going to assume that your "new to you" bathroom was not equipped with an exhaust fan....just the standard little opening roof vent.....

my PO added a MaxAir cover over that vent...so it could be left open while travelling dwon the road.....(still no fan...but the standard roof vent could be left open all the time)

I added a 12V computer fan (wired to the bathroom light).....it moves air (creates negative air pressure in the bathroom).....might not be "perfect" but it does the job....(I also removed that big offset "crank" with a flush wheel for a little extra headroom.....from a water supply valve to a sink)
