1991 boler 1300

Does anyone else have a 1990s Boler? I was very surprised and actually doubtful when I called the seller about the accuracy of the listing but my "new" boler is definitely a 1991 made in Barrie ontario. I tried to do some research but I didn't find much past the late 80s. Any info about this era of the boler legacy would be appreciated

Here is an excellent write-up by Tom McMahon on the Boler,
Proud Canadian
The Boler name is still owned by Jim Pattison who owned Neonex

How did you determine it was definitely a 91 trailer? by the serial number? What company made it in Barrie?

Post some photos would be interested in seeing it.

Hey Carol,
The ID plate on the exterior of the trailer identifies it as being manufactured in May 1991 by he Midhurst Fiberglass company in Barrie. The trailer was originally sold in 1992 in Northbay - I still have the original owners manual with a handwritten note identifying the rv store and the date of purchase. I thought that was pretty neat to have.
I researched the Midhurst fg company on the history page here on FGRV. It is a pretty comprehensive timeline. All the same I did not realize the Boler was made that late. It has intrigued me to say the least. I am excited to have the vintage look of a 70s era Boler (the whole reason we went this route) in a trailer that isn't yet 25 yrs old.
I'll post some pics soon, been too busy cleaning and patching to download the camera...

You may want to add a post to the thread Egg History - Boler Descendants telling of your find!

Definitely post any documentation on the timeline and include pictures as this is a super rare trailer. 1988 was the last known trailer as far as we have found out and the moulds went elsewhere after that date.

Hey James,
I had thought that 1988 was the end of the timeline too. But as far as I can tell at this point it all seems authentic. I posted pics on my "Hi, I am" post, not sure how to link it. I also posted a reply on the history and boler descendants page. I would love to hear from anyone with more info.
