The Niagara Wine Escape sounds like so much fun but, alas, too far from California for us. I'm posting some of my wine country decor photos to prompt you guys to decorate your rigs for the occasion! Have fun everyone and drink responsibly! Remember "Life is a Cabernet!"

Hi: David B... While not on the coast... we are on the water. Please bring a trailer load of dry Arizona air. Last year's pot luck Sat. night got close to being rained out. You'll be the first Lil Snoozy at our Niagara Wine Escape.
See you in September!!!

Guess I'll call tomorrow in case the office is open. Decided last night we want to go again but thought they closed the office on weekends this time of year.
For all you Northerners familiar with NY state parks, we will be leaving a rally at Sampson state park the weekend before this one, and would like anyyones opinions on where to camp between the weekends. Thinking 2 nights at Watkins Glen, followed by 3 nights at Letchworth? Is that a good plan for seeing both places or should we spend all 5 nights at one and then hit the other on the way home to GA.
We love scenic views and hiking if that's any help.

I strongly recommend reserving a day for the nearby Curtiss Museum. We stumbled across it while at Watkins Glen this summer and it was the highlight of our trip.
