Thanks, Carol. I had missed that post when I searched earlier. According to the Snoozy site, the trailer has a tongue weight of 185 lbs, and an overall weight of "2500" lbs, which looks a bit like a guesstimate. But, using those numbers, that is a 7.4% tongue weight, which is pretty low (almost low enough to be troubling). Add the
generator and spare, per the numbers you cite, that raises the tongue to 274 lbs, and the overall trailer to 2589 lbs. That is a 10.6% tongue weight -- still pretty low, but coming into range.
But, from there, the layout seems to have a heavy bias towards storage at the front. That is where I am looking for numbers from the wild. My tow vehicle (Honda Odyssey) has a max tongue weight of 350, and experience tells me to stay below that due to a fairly compliant suspension. I am curious how the real-world loading plays out on overall tongue weight for our resident Snoozers.
