Trailer: No Trailer Yet

Hello all, my name is Jeff. I'm in possesion of a 02 Oxygen tralier that a close friend purchased new. Unfortunately he passed away last month and as a result, the trailer will be coming up for sale soon. My intentions are to take the trailer to a local RV dealer and have them "go through" it. Make sure everything works, check bearings, lights, tires, it will probably need a battery, etc

As mentioned above he purchased the trailer new out of Red Deer. In all honesty I don't think he used the trailer more than 5 times, and I can only recall 3 short trips. It's in fantastic shape and well looked after. He was a single man in his late 50s at the time purchase and had intentions of pulling it behind his custom car (chopped 50 Ford, which is long gone) but that didn't pan out. He loved the looks of the trailer and though that it "matched" his car.

These trailers were very rare and were built in limited numbers. Trying to come up with a fair value might be a little difficult. I searched some old threads and found one that was sold with an asking price of $13900. I've also contacted the dealer who sold the trailer new. They seem to think that they could sell it easily and have even gone so far as to showing interest in purchasing it back. They want me to take it down to Red Deer, which doesn't appeal to me much.

I will take some pictures and post them as soon as I can. Although there are some pictures of what a Oxygen trailer actually looks like in the gallery.

I appreciate you taking the time to read my post and please if you have any questions, feel free.

Jeff

oooh, I love the Oxygen I don't think it will last long on the market. Be sure to post it here in the member For Sale area first . We'd love to give our members first shot at buying it.

Sigh, not for me at this time though...
