Talking Hello! We just bought a Boler!

Hello,
My name is Camila, my husband and I just bought our first trailer (a 1973 Boler) we are looking to fix up and make it an adventure pod for our little family of three (we have a toddler).

We are new to the camping community, but very excited to be a part of it. Learn about our trailer, fix it up and go and experience life and nature!

Both my husband and I grew up in city+farms, experienced nature in a way we feel living in the city will be hard for our son to see. We feel this will be a great way for all of us to reconnect.

We are so new at all of this we have a LOT of questions. Oh and we live in Vancouver, BC!

Welcome, Camila, and congratulations on the "new" Boler! You'll make some wonderful family memories. Wish we had started that young.

Hello! We have had our 1976 13' Boler for ~3 years, but this will be our first year with a toddler in it! Any luck with adjustments for your little one? We are brainstorming ways of making the bottom bunk a safe sleeping space for our soon to be 1-year-old...
(Also in Vancouver, BC!)

Our little was 1 last year. We set up the bunk and used a swing down bedrail tucked under the mattress. Kept about a foot open at the end so she could crawl in and out. We also used an Ikea crib duvet which fit pretty perfectly! Because it is enclosed it got warm in there so we weren't concerned with the covers.

With the swing down bedrail we could open it during the day and close when she was in there sleeping. Click image for larger version
