Am I the only one that sees a family resemblance between
Beachcomber, Dophin, etc. trailers and the props/vehicles of that hit '70's science fiction show SPACE: 1999? Both products of futuristic design themes of the late '70's.
Huh? Am I? Am I?
I watched the series as a youngster and have mixed feelings about the design now as it relates to the trailers. I guess what really irked me was seeing the amount of wood panelling on the inside of a TM15. Doesn't seem like a cohesive design language ... cold, crisp space age exterior vs. cozy '70's ski chalet interior.
Kind of a random observation, but that's how I roll (and occasionally rock).
