Trillium / Outback uses sliders on the sides, and non opening windows front and back.

We originally ordered an Escape 15'. We cancelled because of the windows. Fixed front and back. A slider on one side and the emergency window on the other. That just doesn't work without air and here in the north east none of the public campgrounds have power. We wanted jalousies and they said no. Nice trailer, but.... Raz

[QUOTE=brandybmw;483064. It doesn't seem like there is anything else out there that has bunks, lots of big windows, modern looking interior (faux wood flooring, flat sink/stove when not in use, stainless refrigerator.) There's a used Scamp local but it doesn't look as nice as the Trillium. We've never done any mods on a camper before, but I'm guessing replacing flooring wouldn't be that bad![/QUOTE]

You should talk to the folks at TeamTrillium.com about having a flat stove and or stove/sink combo and a faux wood floor put into an Outback for you as they also offer a floor plan with bunks. They build custom interiors for Outbacks so changing those two small items shouldn't be a big deal to them. They were also the folks who where building the Trilliums up until one partner Tom took his share off to the US and then sold out to Great West Vans.... no Trillium name or logo to be found on the Outback though these days due to the legal issues over the name use.

Tom has "teamed up" with Great West Vans

We bought our 2014 in 2013 via our dealer, Nohr's RV in Pleasanton, California. At that time Tom was still making them in Arizona. Now our dealer is carrying the line from Great West Vans. He told us that Tom is now working in Great West Vans sales department.
The Great West Van's website had this to say:
Great West Vans has teamed up with Trillium RV to produce the SideKick Trillium. We have combined the classic look of the Trillium trailer and put our signature GWV styling and craftsmanship into it to produce a slightly more modern version of the travel trailer that so many have adored over the years.

By the way, Great West Van's is in Canada, so the Trillium has returned to its original home, I guess.

We bought the Sidekick 1300 in Abbotsford, BC April of 2014 and have had nothing but issues with trailer, dealer and GreatWest Vans. Loose body to frame, fiberglass chips and cracking, water pump failure, entry door lack of sealing, leaking, broken latch, lights, awning pieces broken etc. Almost one year and not everything is fixed yet.

Helene, that is too bad very frustrating I am sure.
Could you give us your comparison between the previous Scamp you purchased and your Trillium. I presume the Scamp was lower in price?

The Scamp we purchased, we sold after 3 days of ownership. We never even took delivery. It was a very clean used unit for $10999. It didn't have external shower, fantastic fan, ft dinette/bed or solar unit. I had a bad feeling about the untreated wood floor. We didn't want nay rotting issues and wanted to have our unit for at least 10 years. we are more backpackers and kayakers than RVers. the trillium is new and was 19,990 so no comparison really.

Helene,
We had a lot of QC problems too. Tom even came up to Northern California and towed our baby back to the factory (in Arizona at the time) to have cracks in the roof repaired and leaky windows resealed/replaced. When all was done, we took a three-week, 2,000 mile trip, with some rainy days, and had no problems.

Fortunately we were using a dealer that is only about an hour away from our home.

I think that Tom will do right for you in the end. It just might take them a few tries.
