Proud owners of a Casita 17' Liberty (Modified)

Well, *just* when we were about to place our order for a new Parkliner, which we've come to appreciate and admire in so many ways, a 2010 Casita 17' Liberty came up on the Casita classified listings, modified so that a permanent table and two permanent twins were made (out of the King), which will enable Kim to sleep comfortably at a 81.5"! The couple who sold it to us lovingly cared for this trailer since the beginning and installed many upgrades and mods that we'd have to do ourselves otherwise (LED lights, etc. etc. etc.). What a truly wonderful couple, too. We immediately felt at home with their down-to-earth attitude and approach, completely hospitable and gracious. We can only hope and aspire to take as much care of this Casita as they have for the last 4 years. The last 18 hours have felt very much like the "hand-to-a-glove" experience that we were seeking, so..."Th-th-th-That's All Folks!"

That's great news! Happy camping... and don't be strangers here! We like trailer pics, vacation pics, and trip reports. And fellowship, too.

That's how it often works - I was waiting for Casita to reopen after a holiday shutdown to place my order when the 17LD I had been searching for (almost a year) popped up!

Maiden Voyage!

Hey everyone!

We finally took our Casita out this past weekend on its maiden voyage camping (nicknamed "S.S. Heart of Gold" for any of you HHGttG fans out there!)!!!!

After we chocked the wheels, turned on the propane, and got the chairs out of the back of our truck, we simultaneously looked and said to each other "That's it?!?". LOL

What an amazing and RELAXING first camping trip with it. We are very much looking forward to taking "Goldie" out this coming holiday weekend, rain or shine, and for many more to come!

Totally in love with our little egg!

Congrats fellow Jersian's!

I almost bought a Casita 17 but at the time my Rav4 was not able to handle it...if I had my Frontier I probably would have one...but I'm really Happy with my ParkLiner!

I'm off to the Pocono's again this coming weekend
