value of 2001 16' scamp

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me with the value of a 16' standard scamp it is a 2001 year.
Want to know if it is worth it or get a new one.
Thanks,Lu
P.S. their price is 11,500.00

You don't say what trim level or accessories the 2001 Scamp16 has or what condition it is in.
While that sounds a bit high it is not outside the parameters of a fair price.
A Scamp will hold its value remarkably well, It is not uncommon for a thirty year old Scamp13 to draw more than $6000.
You should price a new one, comparably equipped, and decide for yourself.

I just bought a 22 year old Mustang after driving a new one. I have no doubt that my money is safer in the 1995 which will actually appreciate over time. Of course that will depend on condition, trim level, and desirable accessories.

thank you.
Yes better choice going with the 1995 Mustang!! Love them!!
It is just a plain one I'd say in good shape. no extras.

Likely in the 7500 to 9000 range without seeing it in person. Stuff like A/C, front bath etc will make a difference. Does it have an awning?

Go to fiberglass-rv-4sale.com Look through the Scamp ads as well as the sold section to get a good feel as to what you might expect to pay in your area. Location , Location Location will often have a lot to do with the price as does the time of year and the condition of the trailer.
