fiberglass

the first thing i had to do is figure out the window issue. all the windows were glued shut or broken.

so i removed them and got some new windows orderd form scamp trailers
so i had to do some major fiberglass work to alter the opinings.
on top of the window repaire there was a lage crack on the front that i cut out and replaced with non stressed fiberglass.

on the one side of the boler there was about 3 or 4 holes were vents where so i took thoes out and filled them in as well.

i did start to emove all the old insalation from the inside because of my altrations on the body and the fact someone decided to run knives up and down all the walls

i used fiberglass matting, proformefibergalss resin, and evercote fiberglass long strand filler to finish it off.

after all the fiberglass work was done i had to take off all the old wall stuff (if you dont have to take it off DONT) i found a fome that worked well and had to glue that on which took me quit a while.
i used proform 211 seamsealer to do the seams because paint doesent like silicone and this stuff levels out.

the next thing i did was spray the front bottem of the boler with the truck bed liner to protect it from rock chips

than i sprayed the whole boler in a gray primer to seal any stress cracks and defects

than i sanded the top half cleand it up and sprayed a cote of white sealer
(uttech 460).

the last picture is a photo of my paint gun its a sata jet 3000

this is a friend of mine helping me prep the boler for clearcote
we sprayed the bace colers at about 10:30 pm and are going to clear it still the same day due to the fact that the bace only has an open time of 24 hours and i got it airbrushed on one side so i was running out of time.
