Casita 17' Freedom Deluxe Owner

I'm a newbie to trailers of any size and model. Purchased a 2007 17' Casita Freedom Deluxe a few months ago and traveled from Florida to visit family in NJ. No trouble trailering it with my Hyundai Santa Fe - other than my own basic nervousness. I'm encountering some lousy weather while camped - especially since I'm not more than 25' from a river that seems to flood with every rain! Fortunately, the camp managers are very helpful with moving my trailer to high ground - and back - as needed. And lucky that family has a good sense of humor when I stay at their home when there are no electric or water hookups in the high-ground location.

I'd like to wash my Casita and am looking for suggestions as to a product that will do the job best. Any help out there?

Nisha, it looks like you are already creating memories with your egg!

Welcome to FGRV.

As to the question of washing, I just use the same cleaner I do on my cars, presently Mequire's Car Wash. I then wax with whatever product again I use on my cars.

If you have a problem with dull finish, or staining, there are suggestions elsewhere on this site.

Good luck and lots of enjoyment to you with your new baby.

Hi Nisha, to FiberglassRV, we're glad you're here.

So happy too you were able to get to high ground! It's nice to be mobile isn't it

I concur when Roger, I just wash my Scamp with the same stuff I use on my truck.

Have any pictures to share?

Welcome! just dont pressurewash it like the dealer I got mine from did. I have wondered the way Casitas are built if they would float? Not that I wanna be the first to try. Cool little campers though, from now on FG, is for me.
