Triple E Surfside

Hi everybody,
Brand new to this site!
After sereval attemps at googling things for my trailer, it kept leading me here, so I thought an account was necessary.

I have a Triple E Surfside... and was wondering if anyone has ever painted the inside of it? And if so, what product did you use? Would a simple paint work?

Thanks everyone!
Joanie

We (the Royal We as husband did it all) painted the inside of our SurfSide with exterior semi-gloss latex paint. It looks lovely. The join covers were either falling off or messy so before he painted, he took them all off and filled the lines with paintable white caulking. It seems to have worked well.

We have a Triple E Surfside that needs some work on the windows, specifically the seals. Does anyone know of where we can get seals for the windows?

Thanks
Esther

These are options located in the states.

Not sure about the Surfside but you can check out this place:
Vintage Trailer Window Gaskets that Fit - Vintage Trailer Gaskets
They claim they can get gaskets and seals for most vintage trailer windows.

Another possible source would be:
Vintage Travel Trailer Accessories | Airstream Restoration Parts
You can buy samples of all the gaskets and seals they carry for 50 cents each then compare them to what you have. Its how I found some seals for my Jalousie windows on my boler.

We got them from the Vintage Trailer supplies in the USA. Their service is very good.
