ParkLiner wheels - 5 on 4-1/2?
I'm at work, and want to order some new wheels for our ParkLiner. I think they're 5 X 4-1/2, as that is a very popular size, but am not positive they're 4-1/2. I know for sure they're 5 stud, as I have gotten very familiar with tightening the lug nuts.
Thanks!
Frank

While we're waiting for your answer, Frank, may I ask what the "by four and a half" signifies? I'm puzzled about it. It can't be the number of inches from one stud to its neighbor, or the length of the studs, but there must be a good reason for the nomenclature.

Answer to your tire/wheel question
Hi Frank,
Check out the following link to Maxxis tires. Most tires for trailers today are made in foreign countries, especially China. I have read several complaints about Chinese tires failing. Maxxis tires appear to be reviewed very well. They are made in Taiwan.
ST Radial M8008 | Maxxis USA
The tire size for the Park Liner is:
ST205/75R14 (6-Ply rating)
Maxxis Part # is: TL12460000
Wheels are definitely 5-stud.
The tires you want should be 5.5" (RIM WIDTH)

Mike it is the bolt circle diameter. No biggie, I already ordered them.

Bruce, I am ordering wheels NOT tires. I know what the tires are, I just got new radial tires from ParkLiner in the size described. I wanted aluminum wheels to replace the stock steel wheels that are painted white. These are the wheels I purchased (along with EZ lube hub caps and appropriate lug nuts): 14 x 5.5 Aluminum Modular Trailer Wheel 5 on 4 1/2, 1900 lb Capacity

5.5 Explained Further
Back at ya, Frank,
I knew you were ordering wheels, not tires. My answer was confusing. I thought you didn't know that you needed wheel/rim width of 5.5", as 4.5" would not work. Sorry about that.

No problem Bruce. Some people suggested 6", but I think 5-1/2 will work great. Thanks.

Nice Frank! I might look over the winter cause I need to replace my tires as well and look for something close to the style on my Frontier!

They should be here before the rally Deryk, but I don't think I'll have time to get them on. We'll see. Pics soon though I hope!

It is, but it gets complicated with 5 lug. You draw a line between two studs on the side of them away from the hub, then measure from that line to the center of the stud across from it.
