On sale right now.... LLBean.
$900
It can also be put together as a solo, just leave out the middle. Or....if you have three people, you can buy an extra middle piece.

That's really cool! Kinda the folding bike version of a kayak. I can imagine this will be a "want to have" for those that don't have any way to carry a one piece.
Now let's see pictures when you get it in the water Letitia

Wondering if 2 extra middle pieces would give enough room for the dogs or are we tempting fate and having it break into five pieces.

Too cool!!
We would want an extra middle section or two for the dogs too Roy Of course, we need to actually figure out if we can kayak at all before buying it, let alone with the dogs!

Very cool.
With our Tundra and it's 6.5' bed we just put our two short kayaks in the back, resting on the tailgate, and they aren't long enough to touch the EggCamper.

Ray,
Our TV is a Yukon, always packed with the "outside" items, like chairs, water hose, etc. so we are ready for our quick weekend get-always. Your TV is really ideal for loading & unloading the kayaks. We have the middle piece on the bed and the two ends under the bed area.
What are your favorite kayaking spots in Florida?
Also, is yours a sit-on? (Ours is.) Fun for camping in the Keys last weekend...jumping off, swimming, and easy to get back on.
Our next trip is to Jonathan Dickinson.....a river with gators. 🐊

When sitting on one of these "sit on top" kayaks, you will get wet any time there is more than a very small wave. The disassemble feature is kind of cool. I think that I will stick with my canoes and enclosed kayaks.

Hey, Jonathan Dickinson is bicycle ride from us. Maybe a couple miles at most. Couple of the guys at work take their "stickies" up to the campgrounds when ever they can get an opening.
Where is Florida can you go in a water way that is Gator free?
How are those take apart kayaks for weight. We borrowed a couple sit in kayaks that were darn heavy. I think over 100lbs each. That is a big reason why we haven't taken the plunge and bought our own.

Weight/section approx 11kg / 24,3
Dave, they have a sit in model too. I guess 9 models with the stand up paddle board.

Hi Jason,
Atlantic Ocean.....Long Key SP....gator free! The water was so clear, from the kayak we saw lots of little fish, sting rays, puffer fish and big jelly fish. Didn't mind swimming in that water, but water with gators is another thing! I have done many trips in FL in canoes and sit-in kayaks and never a worry about gators. Just feel pretty up close and personal when I think about using our new sit-on in gator territory.
We will be kayaking at Bahia Honda SP....so no gators there 😉. But we also have plans to kayak in the Everglades and some of the springs in central Florida.
