what I don't understand is....
How in heck did you get Maureen to agree to this???? "Yes dear we'll get rid of the double sinks....oh and instead of three burners to cook on, you'll have two now....great eh???"..... You silver tounge devil, you! you should write a self help book for the rest of us....
seriously, I can definitely "see" it...makes all the sense in the world.....how about a couple of pics of the exterior?

Thanks for all your replies. Yes we did give up a small double sink and a 3 burner stove, however we did gain a much larger and deeper single basin sink. As for the stove, it looks great and also gives us counter space when not in use. Hopefully, it will function as well as the 3 burner Atwood cooktop we took out.
Exterior photographs will be uploaded after the Oregon Gathering later this week

Chris you do amazing work! Makes it look like you have a much bigger trailer! Can I drop my Scamp off to you for a little touch up next winter
Francois: Maureen knows due to having done this awhile that a 3 burner stove is a space waster.... I can't recall in 6 years with hundreds of camping nights ever having used all 3 burners on the stove in mine at the same time even though I do use the inside cook top almost daily. Tossing away 2 sinks for one is another easy choose. You only need one sink to wash the dishes and the counter space one gains in getting rid of the second sink is one very big bonus you can use all day long.

I hear ya....
yeah, I can't imagine using all three of my burners....LOL....but I guess they don't make a two burner WITH oven (I don't carry a Micro so....) I happen to have a fine Origo two burner alcohol stove....one future mod could be to mount this thing where the stove is with a micro underneath (toss the propane "range")....but that wouldn't help me too much when I'm dry camping....love those Origos though... used one for years in a boat....in a trailer, on a whim, you could just pick it up and place it on an outside table to cook outside...nice feature
BTW thanks for that tip about the solar panel supplier (I think it was you)...grrreat sale price on right now....and on top of that it's just "down the street" from me in Qualicum Bay !!!....I forwarded the info to a couple of buddies who are thinking of "solaring up" or adding to existing installs....I'm going to add a 50watter myself.

Your welcome. The current sale is a good one. I am picking up a new slightly more watts one from them in 2 weeks myself. Having a family gathering and we will all be dry camping Island style :-) One of my nephews currently has no solar so will give him my smaller panel. They are so cheap you may want to think about getting an 80 watt rather than 50 while you can. The US has imposed a new tax on imported Solar panels so you can be sure we will be paying more for them as well in the future.....

no 80 watt for me....
what I'm thinking of...is I have a 40 at the moment, with 20' extension cord and stored inside...so now I get a 50 (2'x2'), mount it permanently of the roof.....sorta/kinda the "best of both worlds" ....trailer parked anywhere or on the road the 50 is charging....trailer set up in the shade, the 40 deployed away from the trailer in the sun...charging.....trailer set up on a bright sunny campsite.... now I got 90 watts working....big time charging....might just leave the lights on all day.....LOL
the Coleman controller ought to handle the two panels (rated for 105W max) and 7 amps (I'll have 2.3 + 2.91)
It's just never ending this trailer work/upgrade/reno/fiddle, yada yada
I wish somebody would've warned me about that
and on the subjects of sources...just got these yesterday.....from "Deal Extreme".....like 2.20 for the smalls...3.30 for the biggies....only slight snag is the bulb male end supplied is smaller than 1156/1141 receptacles
so had to cut and twist some wires...delivery takes about three weeks...lots of weird and wonderful stuff on that site Cheers, F

I purchased the sink from Home Depot. Here is a link to the product information:
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Pegasus-D...RZSK/202022419
We have similar sinks in our home kitchen and found them super easy to clean. They are not much more weight that the stainless steel sink I removed.
The faucet was purchased from Costco.

With 105 trailers at this year's gathering it was easy to not see everyone's trailer especially when everyone wanted to stop by and see your new Escape 5.0 TA. That is truely an awesome trailer!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at future gatherings. Hopefully we can get in at Silver Falls for Friday and Saturday night.
