replacement window glazing for rear window on 1975 scamp

Hi,

I am restoring a 75 scamp and I have been unable to find the right window glazing for my rear aluminum window. The glazing is about 5/8" wide. I have looked locally and online. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I attached some reference photos.

As always, I appreciate the help!

Thanks for the link. I think we are talking about different things. I have an old aluminum Jalousie window with three plexi panels. My scamp is a 75 and the rear curves unlike the new models. Anyway, I'm just looking for the right glazing strip to put in new plexi windows. My local glass / window place does not have a match. Has anyone replaced the glass in this type of window?

If you can, you might be able to do a pencil tracing of the window on butcher paper, and most RV/Boat window places can probably custom build whatever you want. Send it, along with a few pictures if you can, and they should be able to make one to your specs.

I've worked with these folks a few times and they're great.

Ian Giles is such a resource whenever you run into anythng from older Scamps and Bolers. Keep him in mind. He has a huge library of knowledge.
