Joe,
Don't you use a map? wow, just alittle off course! Of course I flew into Memphis instead of Nashville and couldn't figure out why no one met my plane!
Yes it is nice country here and seems to be always snowing. Not quite use to it as I am from Pa. by way of W. VA.

Town name was spelled wrong (they forgot to put the "T" on it)..... I hear you on the Memphis/Nashville I hate when that happens.
See you at the Rally

Hi cpaharley,
I was just out to the rally calendar and noticed that the pocono rally wasn't listed for July. So, I added the event to the calendar. Feel free to update/edit it.

I'm looking forward to July.

Thanks Ron, I had posted it on the map but forgot about the calendar. I thinkwe may have more than 10 now so we will qualify for a discount. I 'll check as we get closer. Six more months to go and counting.

Good catch Bill,
I just looked at the rally map and didn't find the pocono egg fest. Hmm.
cpaharley, I think it got trashed somehow.

Find a link to the 2011 Rally Map as a stickie at the top of this forum. Carol H is the OP. It appears a FiberglassRV admin needs to redirect the FGRV Rallies link on the left nav bar to the 2011 map. AND, the link at the very top navigation needs to be redirected too

Site #139 is ours for the July Egg Festival.

Available sites currently available in the Egg Fest "held area"
are#'s 140, 141, 142.

Sherry @ the KOA was very helpful and most pleasant to deal with.

The wife and I will be making our reservation soon... probably tomorrow. I was going to do it a few weeks ago, but we had a bit of a family crisis and things were put off for a while. We will be there... not sure if the baby or the pup will be joining us. Can't wait to see some other FGRVs! I've only seen one FGRV other than our Scamp... and that was a quick glance at a Trillium on the DC beltway.

Thanks everyone for promptly making their reservations. I realize it is still 6 months away and things will and do change but let's hope for the weather to warm up soon. After Jesse makes his reservation, we will have 14 attendees. Don and myself will try to come up with some sort of entertainment or schedule. Feel free to make suggestions, this is your rally. I have a partial list of attendees and type of trailer but do not have any info on sites 135 or 143. Please email me name and type of egg you have. With Jesse but without these aforementioned 2- we have 1 trillium,4 casitas,1 uhaul,4 eggs,1 scamp and one jayco. Thanks everyone and think Springtime warm.

Hello,
Regarding the pocono's get together, did anyone receive a confirmation from the campground? I reserved a spot awhile ago and I thought they said that I would receive an email or snail mail confirmation.
Just wondering....Marjie
PS - the snow is coming down

I just checked back through my emails and didn't find a reply/confirmation. I'll have to check my credit card statement to see if it's been charged for the site.

Ron

PS - looks like we're going to be on the edge of the snow this time, whew. I'm already having trouble finding places to put what we've gotten so far. I'm ready for spring and camping season.

I think if you check your credit card they have your deposit- They told me you are in #126- is that correct?
By the way, we will all be receiving some type of discount, based upon the final number of persons making reservations, currently @ 14.

"I'm ready for spring and camping season."
So am I, I have ordered and received so many UPS packages over past 3 months that my neighbors think I'm having a "thing" with the delivery person!! I have completely redone and made all my modifications- problem is they are all completed only in my head- it is too cold outside to be working on the Egg right now.

It's official: Just booked site 141!

Also officially the most expensive campground I've ever stayed at.

mcbrew, Yes, it is a bit pricey, but the area is amazing and there are some great amenities. There should be another discount coming with the number of people we have registered. I have looked at the DC area, can't wait to talk to you.

Just saw your reply. Yes, thank you, that is correct. Can't wait!
That is indeed a lovely area.
And, thank you for organizing this East Coast get-together!
