SOLD: 2000 Casita Spirit Deluxe 17' For Sale: Asking $8500

We are selling our neat little 17' Casita. Tears may be shed. The trailer is in very good condition and has most of the options offered in 1999. It was built in '99 and titled as a 2000 model.

As most Casita owners have done over the years we have made a few modifications. Most you can see in the photos. A couple of years ago I changed to 15" wheels & new tires. Added a carry tray on the rear bumper and a platform on the front A-frame for a small generator. Added a switched cooling fan for the refrigerator. Installed a DVD player and small drawer over the dining area. I removed the original TV antenna which was almost useless and fastened an extendable antenna pole to the rear bumper. May not be that pretty but it works. We left the double bed in the dining area made up all the time and used the side dining table for meals, reading and watching TV. Also took out the existing A/C unit which I felt was larger than needed and installed one that a 1600 watt Honda generator could easily handle. Added small shelves by the bed and a magazine rack on front wall.

Forgot to mention that we also added an awning over the dining-side window as well as a larger sewer hose storage tube below the A-frame.

I will also include a hardcover for propane tanks, two portable stabilizer jacks, a step jack, a sway bar and if you want them,adapters to use with an equalizer hitch. (helps to mount the torsion bar saddles in tight quarters with propane tanks) Equalizer hitch is not included.

Note: You do not need an equalizer hitch to tow these trailers.

Awwww! I was looking at your ad, frankly, because I'm thinking of selling my 2004 16' Scamp, and was just getting ideas on how to go about it, without resorting to Ebay....and I got "caught up" in your "emotional ending....watching it go away"! Congratulations...I see it didn't take you long....was your buyer someone who found it through this website?
