Thanks Borden,
I got all my paneling from Windsor plywood, we have several stores near where I live but one is very close to several movie studios and they cater to them changing their scenery all the time so they have a very good selection The other stores not so much. There make movies out in Ontario too don't they, lol maybe check around and see where they get their supplies from

just some pictures of the completed drawers, screwed down some plastic runners to help them slide better. Installed some oak faces on them they are small, but more than what was here before

starting new mod

I have some time in the shop so going to install a good used entrance door
that was at one of the local RV shops for cheap. So I'm trying to put a round door in a square hole. Will need to do some glass work again, the new door is a little smaller as well fill in the corners. Shooting to get it done this long weekend.
We'll see how that goes LOL

I will update pics as I go

I hope you get finished soon, I have to go back and reread everything from the start because I forget. Great work...

ha ha yes Jim, I want it to end also .

I forgot how messy fibreglass can be. Just a few pics of the progress today
framed in for new door, turns out to be about 3/4 in taller but 2 1/2 narrower
I ground down the edge to except the new fibreglass , sanded that down and
put first coat of bondo on , will continue tomorrow

I think you're going to like that radius door Ken. A little late after looking at your pics but did you ever think of using one existing door edge to use to save FGing both sides? I'm sure you did cuz the framing is probably different on the new one and I'm not seeing the forest for the trees .

I thought the same thing Dave, but my stairs are welded in the center of the doorway so that is why I centered the door. It is much easier to do a bit of fiberglass on each side than cutting and welding the stairs in a new position.

Also did small repair on the new door and painted it. Here are a few pictures of the process and the finished product. Glad it's done.

Enjoy the summer all.

One more thing to add

Installed built-in vacuum system

Gave up trying to get last bit of dirt over the lip on doorway
The unit came with inlet that you open and vac comes on and just have to sweep dirt in. Hose inlet also good for cushion and cabinets

Hope everyone has a great summer

Extending a trailer

VERY COOL! I have "thought" about joining 2x 10' Trillium Shells together on a fladeck trailer but don't have the guts to undertake it yet! One half would be the bedroom and the other half the kitchen/living area. Maybe one day.........please keep posting pics as things progress......I will definitely be following it.

2 into 1

That would be a big job for sure , but having a separate bedroom would be awesome in a little fibreglass trailer. If you do it yourself that would be great, but if you get someone to do the work make sure you give very specific instructions . Lol

Have a great summer

I dreamed of connecting our Uhaul VT with a CT to create separate rooms, but instead, we sold our VT to a couple who was thrilled to get it; and we bought a Bigfoot Silver Cloud. Believe me, the separate rooms are great! One can watch TV in the livingroom while the other watches something else in the bedroom. We have 4 separate rooms. We got it for our retirement. Kevin is there; I am almost there. Counting the days.
I will post pix after I try to doctor up my Macbook Pro.

Ken, read this thread through again for the 3rd time and it's still WOW, what a fantastic job you've done. Couldn't help but think of some of the FG folks that are skittish of putting a hole or hatch in the shell, you sliced and diced . Someone will end up with a great trailer, good luck with the sale.

Thanks Dave,
I wasn’t sure what price to put, but they are asking crazy money for small
Fibreglass trailers. We’ll see what happens
Take care

I suggest you start a new thread in the "4 Sale" section of the forum and you may get more leads that just adding it at the end of this thread.
