On the other hand, they have been known to make changes not indicated in catalog or website nor even communicated to buyers. There was a flap this year over eliminating the small front window in front bath models in favor of a power vent. The change was made between the time orders were placed and the trailers manufactured, and buyers were not made aware. To Scamp's credit, they did offer (under pressure from a disgruntled buyer) to retrofit the window in one case, and, after further consideration (and input from members here) the buyer decided to pass on the offer.
To be fair, manufacturers do it all the time. "Specifications subject to change without notice" is in the fine print in most sales brochures and purchase contracts.
In my mind the slow updating of Scamp's literature and website is somewhat of a problem, since they do make small, incremental changes fairly often. Not much gets by the sharp eyes and ears of the members of this forum though… whatever it is, I saw it here first!
