OH!!! I'm not talking about it being bad or nothing it's just that the winter months I'm Duck hunting, Deer Hunting, Pheasant Hunting and don't have time to work on the camper....this year we didn't have a winter at all.....

Check it out and it will fit both the 4500 or 1300...Pictures......I have the piece that goes on top the piece that goes inside the A/C unit and the control panel......

Well I worked hard on the ole 1300 today trying to get the "BIG" hole in the roof repaired where the roof A/C was before...The hole in the roof is huge so I used a piece of 7/16 plywood rounded the edges and glued a piece of marine grade vinyl on it..I looked and looked for a piece to match the interior and the piece I got really matches the interior very well..Alot better than I thought it would..Working alone makes it hard at times but I managed to get it installed with the help of 3 dead man braces I built....First I bowed the plywood with some old car batteries I had laying around.....Here's a few pictures..

The first of the week I plan on fiberglassing everthing in and getting the roof ready to be repainted, then I can start back redoing the inside..

After the Plywood piece has dried and is in place I've started finishing the roof..First I used fiberglass cloth that I cut into 3" strips and embedded them in fiberglas resin along the seams once dry I covered that with Short Strand Fiberglass filler, after that I sanded down the rough surface to some degree not totally smooth,(wanted to make sure it was rough enough for the bondo to get a good grip to the surface) and now starting to smooth it out with bondo..been a long day..will try to finish the roof tomorrow....A picture of my progress..(still pretty rough right now)...looks like tomorrow there will be alot of grinding going on.....

I've got a 6' rolling scaffold that I use......still a stretch to get it done though, but a lot better than a ladder..Check this out...Husband Ladder Accident

Here's a picture of my setup while working on the roof.....After 5 hours of work and 10 lbs of nose buggers after all that sanding I think it's ready to paint...It's not as smooth as a baby's butt...but then again it's not as bumpy and rough as my butt neither..It being the roof I'm going to put 2 coats of paint and 3 coats pof clear on it..I think 3 coats of clear will be good for the top since it take the most abuse from the elements...
I've also got 3 sets of used hinges for sale if anyone needs them..I posted them along with pictures in the classified section.....

Got the furnace that I bought from Francesca Knowles installed today along with all new gas lines and the electrical all completed, finished hanging the cabinet doors and now need to install the pull handles and re-install the stove..Looks to be getting closer to getting this one done..A few pictures of todays work.....

what is the white stuff on the floor, is it fiberglass you put on and if it is how do you doi it, I ask because I have a 5500 trillium with a rotted out floor.

Yes it is fiberglass but that is the way it came from the factory...It came with a piece of carpet glued down on it ..I ripped that out then sanded down all the old glue residue...Never owned a 5500 but all my Trilliums have the same type floor in them the 4500's and the 1300's...I'm going to glue down hardwood flooring when I get the inside done...

Got some more done in the last few days..Took off the old Gravel Guard that was on it and rebuilt it using some FRP panels that I had laying around didn't match exactally but it's close enough to me....Here's the old Gravel Guard before I redid it...it had been painted gray...

Got my cushions completed.... I reinstalled the couch by myself and didn't get it set right looks to be a little too high and now it don't fit right along the bottom..going to take it down and redo it but from these you can tell this one's color scheme....PURPLE.....Friends think I should have used a different color but I've got a group idea...
