Boler windows resealing

i'm resealing my 17' boler windows. i have pulled the windows off, sanded off the silicon, cleaned the fiberglass.

what does is the next step? i have butyl tape, but after you put the tape on and set the window back in, do you do anything else? has anyone sealed around the window as a precaution?

Yes you can buy a tube of Pro-Flex to seal around the window after the install. It sticks to fiberglass.

No need for anything else, if installed properly the butyl tape alone will seal for many decades. Additional caulking around the window will just look messy.

I agree with Ian. Don't put anything on the outside frame. YUCK.
