Rare East-Coast (NJ)
Fiberglass RV
for sale: California built newer
Burro. It’s in great condition – perfect for public campgrounds and
boondocking. The flooring type has rubber squares for easy clean-up and the exterior/interior
lights and
electrical were upgraded by the previous owner to LED and also has a 3-panel
solar system. With an ice box and catalytic heater, we never needed to connect to any electricity while camping. It has electric
brakes, one-year old
tires and a new spare, along with a new tongue jack.
There are storage areas under all seating. The large size booth table (4-person seating) converts into a "Truly Full Size" bed (labeled queen size) along with an upgraded foam mattress topper. The interior height is 6’2” and width is 7’4” – you can actually stand and sleep in this trailer. The small booth table for 2-person seating could turn a small single sized bed, although we replaced the table top with a larger Corian top and added a silverware drawer for convenience. We also replaced the curtains and cushion covers.
The 2-burner
propane stove works great and the
propane tank has been upgraded and replaced. A outdoor
propane grill is included. The sink has a manual hand pump and it is connected to a 10 gallon fresh
water/gray water tank (which we never used – it was easier to just take a large thermos and not worry about draining it – cleaning the tanks is recommended). There is no bathroom, but we have included a new unused
portable toilet for off-road convenience.
It weighs about 1100 pounds, dry. In hauling, we used a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder VW Tiguan to move it to and from campsites – you can even roll it around by hand if necessary (we know this for a fact). This trailer is an economical way to camp and will last for many years because of the fiberglass construction. The trailer gets much of attention wherever we go with it. We have enjoyed it, but want to get something bigger for our upcoming extended “See America Coast to Coast Road Trip"
