'87 Bigfoot Silver Cloud 28'

1987 Bigfoot Silver Cloud 28-87 Travel Trailer 1987 Bigfoot Silver Cloud 28-87 Travel Trailer | eBay

For those who aspire to the dignity of the slightly patinated, is this the BOMB or what? Not mine of course but I'd prefer it to any park mode of any sizel I've ever seen. And of course you could pull it too! I assume it's a pretty decent all season rig.

It has been on this forum's RV for Sale thread for WAY over a year, with (obviously) no-one grabbing it up.

It has been in Craigslist several times and on Kijiji

I have posted it to the "referrals" section a couple of times

If I recall from (somewhere) the owner has taken it back & forth to Ariz behind a V6 Pickup, but finds that as a "snowbird" unit (IE several months at a time as a park model) it is nowhere near big enough.

If I happened to trip over a pile of $$$$ I'd snag it in a second. My current tug wouldn't even notice it back there while heading down the Interstate, and by the standards of most of the rigs I see out there, its actually not very big at all!

Are there any camping clubs/resorts etc around where you could both put it there and USE it as well as take it out for a run from time to time??

I was just thinking of a friend who bought a large Motorhome and could not keep it at home. Storage yards were not money well-spent in his view, so he enrolled ina place something like "Thousand Trails" or similar. He then parked his rig at their campground, and used it as a weekend getaway place, as well as taking it out to go adventuring from time to time. I have no idea what sorts of RV campgrounds you have in Texas so I know nothing of how available or how much it would cost.

It was just an idea - there are sure not many of those around and you are not likely to come across another.

However, one never knows.....
