I tried to make an order like yours, but some of the sizes I measured from the scamp are too small for their minimum specs, for example the long and narrow cabinets in the front and rear upper storage areas are 36x6" and the minimum on the site is 7.5"

Similar issues with the drawer front underneath the stove.

Did you run into this issue when you ordered a couple of years ago?

Just pulled out my old order and you are right they seem to have changed the sizes you can do.
On mine for the long narrow ones I ordered 35.5x6.5 and the drawer front was 18x4.
I guess you could call and ask them what the scoop is. That's a pain if you can't get them though as I really liked them.
Let us know how you make out.

I've refinished all my trailers with ikea clearance doors the trick is to buy there euro handles that run the entire length of the door so when you cut the doors to fit, the handles will cover your cut edge and you do not have to refinish the edge. Handles and doors less than 50 bucks for each trailer

After writing that comment about IKEA, and after at least 10 good years of bargains in the as-is room, they seemed to have taken a different tact in the as-is room this past year.

Gone are the real bargains, most stuff is marked down less than 40-50%, the Fabric bins have been reduced in half and the no-returns policy still holds. As a result they have stacks of returned mattresses and lots of odd looking furniture that no one buys.

I have been in IKEA stores from San Diego to Seattle in the past 6 months and it's the same in all of them. No mo' real bargains in the as-is room. Bummer....

Thanks for the input. Searching around online it looks like I will be able to find one that will make the smaller dimensions. I just found a site that would take the dimensions and had similar prices however the shipping was going to be $110 to Cali. I'll have to keep searching around...

Those doors look good! I built my own out of Cherry. By the time I bought the solid Cherry for the rails and Styles, and the plywood for the panels, I really didn't save much over the price you got! Good show! I did discover that they are actually a little bit lighter than the originals.

curious

When I logged on to Cabinet Mart I noticed their cabinet covers where 3/4" thick, did that thickness work for you? Also it looked as if their minimum width was 7". Five of my cabinet doors are 6.5", did you make the 7" work. Looks great!
Thanks,
John

I just made my cabinet door mart order. I found a way around the new minimum sizes...you can order "solid drawer front" in 36x6" or in smaller sizes than the shaker cabinet door sizes and it will all match. In the original post of this thread you can see an example on his drawer. That is how my 36x6" cabinets above the dinette and bench will look as well.

I'm glad I figured out a way to make it work because the best thing about cabinetdoormard.com is the free shipping. At an order total of $206 it was nearly $100 cheaper than other sites where shipping was always around $50-$100.

Will post pics once they come in---

Cabinet door options

This looks like a great choice for those of us that are not cabinet makers. I need to get rid of the Casita MDF and the push button latches!

Good fix, make sure to post pics when you are done
Steve - I always look at the Casita doors too but there is so many of them it is kind of daunting!

I am not a cabinet maker, but am a Carpenter who took cabinet making classes at the VoTec school and have all the equipment to do it. I would not buy the material and even try to do it for these prices!
