How to tell if Burro is Insulated

It sounds like Burro Trailers came either insulated or non-insulated. When looking to buy a used trailer, how does one determine if the trailer came insulated from the factory or is a non-insulated model?

I am new here and just looking into buying a fiberglass trailer. Thanks for the help!

its very easy. The interior will "glow" if you look at it during the day if uninsulated. The fiberglass will allow filtered light to pass through it. It is an orangish opaque look. Insulated models don't do this, except for some spots where the insulation isn't installed between the shells very well (Both of my insulated ones had small spots like this)

If its a cloudy day, open the closet or cupboards and look in the back of either. Its only one layer in there. You can also see the insulation slopping over the mating edges in some trailers where inner and outer shell meet.

You can see the insulation like in the closet under the sink in the cabinets
and a few other spots. It is so minimal that even if it is insulated it really
isn't. I added Reflectix in as many areas as I could. Still not great but
a little better.

What about condensation?

Gina and Bill, thanks for the great answers! Since you have experience with the Burros, maybe you can answer my second concern about condensation.

I was wondering if the insulation between the shells would at least cut down on the condensation on the walls and ceiling.

Other folks on here have talked about it basically raining inside their Burro, but I am not sure if they were insulated or non-insulated trailers, so it is hard to know what to think of that issue.

One of the big reasons we are considering a trailer is for use at ski areas in the winter, so we do hope to camp in the cold.

Thanks!

I have not had a condensation problem
and it gets pretty cold here in Wisconsin.
So I wouldn't sweat it! (bad pun intended)
