While returning from Ohio on Sunday the car behind thought they were driving through snow. (at 100 F ! ) We haven't seen it yet, but the friend who borrowed it thought that it had exploded. Don't know if he was running it with the roof vent cracked open or not
We'd never paid much attention to that window- never opened it because of the red latch.
Can someone post some pictures of the hinges? They are gone. as is the emergency latch.

Why can't I find who had the problem of the sink window falling off?

When it gets home we'd better do Pete's suggestion of wiring or figuring out how to add extra glue.

The things you never miss until they're gone
thanks jean

Hi Norm and Jean,

Just got your email. Sorry we were away. I can take close ups of the hinges for you, or just go to the CR Laurence site at
http://www.crlaurence.com/ProductPages/R/R...49.html?Origin=

This is the actual replacement hinges that we've got on the Oxygens. I've attached a pic and I can email it to you if need be. Any larger glass company that deals in sunroofs has surely got dealings with CR Laurence. They bought out SFC and still supply replacement parts. They do not however supply replacement windows for Bonair Oxygen. We had to have the sink window made of tinted Plexiglass. Works like a charm.

Hope it helps.

Trevor and Tracy.

Hi.

We have owned our 2002 since May of 2004. It sat on the lot for a year, due to the price. The first owners used it and found it too small. This is our third season and have travelled about 5000 miles with it. We love it.

A window question: how do you keep the window hinges from opening on their own>? We have not lost a windwo yet, but the hinges are often loose when we stop, specifically the kitchen window.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Still Loving Our Oxygen

We haven't found a solution for those kitchen window hinges, but we haven't lost a window either.
A number of past comments were about backing up the Oxygen. I have never had a problem in daylight. I am still considering back up lights. I would not wire them to the vehicle but would put a switch just inside the door, for example.
Happy camping!
