The bellyband has a slight lip that makes it natural track for the bracket to fit into, gravity does the rest. Here's a couple close-ups

We use Stugvik towel bars and hooks; suction cups onto the window nearest the door great.

Very cool not sure it would work so well on the bellyband of my scamp though :-(

We have a butane cook top and a spare 5 lb propane tank. Life is good😀
