Still need a door. I saw the post on this site where they cut the door flange off and we'll put in a store-bought door. Has anyone done this?? Would this make entrance recessed? Any thoughts concerns??

Wow, looks amazing, makes me feel like I have no idea what I'm doing with ours Granted I'm an accountant by trade definitely not a carpenter!

Our door frame isn't straight so id think that would be difficult, I have seen pictures of some earlier models that didn't have the curved door. I would almost think it would be easier to make a door out of wood shaped the way you need it then covering it with fiberglass or aluminum. Granted I'm just making stuff up as I go along so its probably not helpful . Heres a picture of our door if it helps any.

Looking at your work makes us remember ours...it's so fulfilling to put it right again, isn't it?

I also worked on the storage compartment above the galley I was thinking about putting slider doors on instead of hinged doors.

when I was building the seating area in the back, just like Steve V had to insert a metal angle iron piece I had to do the same I ended up attaching a piece of aluminum angle iron to the bottom side of the plywood and attached it to the back of the camper wall this stabilized the floor
