Trillium screw covers / bolt pattern
Hello I was just wondering if anyone knew the best place to order the black screw cover trim for a trillium 1300, I have checked at a local rv dealer in town (Saskatchewan) and the lady said it was discontinued?
Also I have read a few posts about people buying steel rims to lower your trillium to make it fit into a garage with a 7' door but I couldn't find anything on a bolt pattern? And which size is best? A 12" rim?
1973 trillium
Thanks!

The screw cover is available from almost any RV parts dealer. It is available in many colors, including white.
GO-RV.com - RV On-line Catalog
The bolt pattern on most Trilliums is 5 on 4.5. That is 5 bolts with 4.5" between the centers of the furthest apart holes.

Screw covers
I bought screw covers from Amazon.com August 2013: Type in "Hehr Rigid Insert Trim" in the Amazon search box.

It just occurred to me that you might be talking about the screw covers on the windows. These are tough to find. The one place I know is:
Hehr Screw Cover, Molding

Yes exactly, the 1/2" pieces of trip to cover the screws on the windows, the local rv place said they were discontinued, but they will be out there somewhere.
Also does anybody know where to find the belly band rubber? Or what the proper name is? Mine is looking pretty rough and I would like to see if I can change it. Thanks for all the help!

Hi Steve
Regarding your small rims I purchased from a surplus store or Canadian tire usually have them, 8inch rim with tire about 35 bucks each and she gets it in the garage. You have to be careful when tightening the bolts as the centre of rim does not quite fit the hub, but if your careful and tighten all equal it will carry the trailer no problem.
My garage door is 7 ft and it clears by 1 1/2 to two inches,be sure the vent is closed.

Ok wow! Thanks Ron! I have been reading older posts on the subject and couldn't decide which would be better, just plain steel rims or something like you have suggested. I think I will try the 8" rim and rubber combo as opposed to just the rim. My garage pad is pretty cracked and uneven in spots, so i think a rim with rubber would make it easier to get in and out, I will be using my atv to pull in and out. I really wanted it off the street so I can do some repairs indoors. Thanks for all the help! Much appreciated!

Ron, I use Ford Ranger aluminum rims on my trailers. The center hole is too small on those as well. I use a dremel with a sanding drum to increase the size of the center hole in the rim. It takes some time, but it works. Might take too much time on steel rims.
